Sound on Render Complete | FREE Blender ADD-ON |

If you have used Adobe After Effects in the past, you know that when a render is completed, a sound plays to indicate its completion. This is very helpful as it allows us to do other tasks while the render is running. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in Blender. But no problem! Today, I present to you an amazing add-on that solves this issue and it's free.

Instructions

1. Download the add-on from the Gum Road.
2. Save the file in an appropriate location.

   

3. Then launch the blender and go to Edit then preferences.

   

4. Click on Add-on, and then click on Install.

   

5. You will find a new window; navigate to the location where you saved the file, select the file, and hit Install Add-On.

   

6. Now you will get this! Check the box and select your desired sound file (make sure it is in wav format) in the preferences. Now you can enjoy the add-on.

   

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You have to positively select an audio file or else the add-on will not work.
